Urban Farming Workshop Series

Join our experienced horticulturists and permaculture experts as they introduce you to the world of urban farming.
The urban farming workshops are a series of sessions including an introduction to permaculture, chicken keeping, bee keeping, propagating and seed saving, community gardens — the list goes on!
These workshops will give you the skills and knowledge to apply to your own urban garden or help you decide if a career in horticulture/permaculture is for you.

Times

Workshops run 10am - 5pm every third Saturday of the month from February until September.

Saturday - Session 2	Soils and their preparation, preserving your harvest
Saturday - Session 3	Beekeeping, composting, worm farming and fertilizers
Saturday - Session 4	Organic vegetable production, harvesting and storage
Saturday - Session 5	Propagation, seed collection and storage
Saturday - Session 6	Pest disease and weed management
Saturday - Session 7	Chicken keeping and care, DIY yard constructions
Saturday - Session 8	Community gardens and community supported agriculture
